“十五”期间,我国城市轨道交通进入了快速发展阶段。周翊民的大作《我国城市轨道交通多元化发展的新趋势》,作出了“发展多元化”、“设计模块化”的最新概括,并提出了相应的对策:合理选择速度目标值,正确进行列车选型,重视发展市郊铁路(市域级轨道交通线),车辆设计模块化,按照安全、可靠、经济、实用、技术先进的原则作好城市轨道交通规划。本文是作者在“2002中国上海国际城市轨道交通设备与技术展览会”专业研讨会上的讲演稿,本刊应听众和读者要求,本期全文刊出。其他几位专家的讲稿也将陆续刊登。陆锡明、王祥的《城市轨道交通系统规划相关问题研究》,分析总结了世界著名大城市轨道交通系统规划的特征与规律,并在此基础上对上海城市轨道交通规划提出了改进建议。“计划的节约是最大的节约。”在我国城市轨道交通的快速发展阶段,各大中城市都在制定或修订轨道交通规划,本文很值得规划界人士参考。
沈钢的《发展中的轻轨车辆走行部》一文,也是作者在首届上海国际城市轨道交通设备与技术展览会·专业研讨会上的讲演稿。作者在归纳分析各种轻轨车辆走行系统特点的基础上,介绍了几种新型走行系统;并就如何对传统的转向架结构进行优化控制、独立轮技术、开发多样化轮轨走行系统等问题提出了自己的见解。本期封面配发的独轨地面轻轨车辆,就是2001年才开始投入运营的新型轻轨系统。
张海燕的《地铁的票务收益安全》一文,以使用磁卡的自动售检票系统为例,就辅助设备、规章制度、作业程序等环节,提出了在安全方面可采取的相关措施。本文是作者依据多年的票务工作经验,为确保地铁票务收益系统的安全、高效运作所作的理性思考,值得地铁运营管理人员借鉴。
轨道结构受载时的力学特性,属于典型的非线性力学问题。姜建华、练松良的《轨道结构的非线性有限元分析》一文提出,钢轨垫层的刚度、钢轨的抗扭刚度和扣件扣压力大小是影响轨距扩大的主要因素;作者根据所建立的非线性力学计算模型,研究计算了在不同扣件压力下,由于轮轨间的滑动接触所引起的轨距扩大问题。

age of rapid development.
“The new tendency of diversified
UMT development in China”
(given by Mr.Zhou Yimin) has
summerized the latest concepts
of the “diversified development”
and “unitization design”,
and put forward relevant measures:
the selection of the operation
speed value, the right type
of vehicles, the emphasis
on the development of suburban
railways (mass transit in
a city proper), and the unitization
desgin of vehicles. The author
also argues that urban mass
transit planning shall be
made on the principle of safety,
reliability, economy, practical
use and advanced techniques.
This article is a speech made
by the author on a professional
symposium of the 2002 International
Exhibition of Urban Mass Transit
Equipment and Technology,
held in Shanghai, China. To
respond to the requests of
the audience and our readers,
we published the full text
of his speech and will publish
the speeches of other experts
on this symposium in the following
issues.
“Research on the planning
of urban rail transit system”
has analysed the characteristics
and the inner laws of the
UMT systems in some famous
cities worldwide, and proposed
some advices for the improvement
of UMT planning in Shanghai
on this basis. the author
holds that “The economy in
the planning is the biggest
thrift in the whole course”.
In the rapid development of
UMT in China, many bigger
and middle-sized cities are
making or revising their mass
transit planning, we hope
this article will become a
good reference to the planners
in the circles.
“The developing running
gears of light rail vehicles”(by
Mr.Shen Gang) is also a speech
made on the professional sysmposium
of the 2002 International
Exhibition of Urban Mass Transit
Equipment and Technology.
After an analysis of the characteristics
of the running system of various
light rail vehciles, the author
introduces a new type of running
system, and puts forward his
special viewpoint on how to
optimize the control of the
traditional bogie structure,
how to develop monorail techniques
and the diversified wheel
running systems. the monorail
light vehicle on the front
cover of this issue is a new
type of LRT system only put
into operation from the beginning
of 2001.
“On the safety of metro
ticketing revenue” has made
some workable measures in
terms of the supplementary
equipment, rules and regulations
and operation process, by
taking the card ticket vending
and checking system as an
example, This article is based
on the rich experiences of
yearly work in ticket issuing
and checking, and the reasonable
contemplation of the author
on the safety of the ticketing
system and efficient operation,
we think it is worth reading
for the managers of metro
operation.The characteristics
of the mechanics when the
rail structure is under load
is a typical non-linear problem.
The article “Analysis of the
non-linear finite element
in railway structure” holds
that the elastic rigidity
of rail cushion, the anti-torque
stiffness of rail and the
clamping force of fastener
are the main factors for the
widening of gauge. According
to a non-linear contact model
of mechanics, the author calculated
the widening of gauge caused
by the sliding contact of
wheel to track under different
clamping forces of fastener.

after getting the permission
of the higher authorities
responsible for publishing
work, to turn the quarterly
issue of Urban Mass Transit
into the bimonthly issue.
